Terms and Conditions
Booking Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing to join Into Nature.
These terms help us create a safe, respectful and nourishing experience for every guest. By confirming your booking, you agree to the following.
General
Into Nature is an intimate, professionally facilitated wellbeing experience designed to support rest, connection with nature and gentle self-reflection.
Our intention is to create a welcoming environment where every guest feels safe, respected and able to move at their own rhythm.
Participation in all activities is optional. We encourage you to listen to your body, honour your own limits and take breaks whenever needed.
Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel your booking:
Cancellations made more than three weeks before the retreat commencement date will receive a partial refund, less a $150 administration fee.
Cancellations made within three weeks of the retreat commencement date are non-refundable, as your place has been reserved and prepared specifically for you.
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to contact us to discuss transferring your booking to another person, subject to approval.
Unforeseen Postponement or Cancellation
Should Into Nature be postponed or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances outside our control (including severe weather, venue closure or facilitator illness), a full refund of all monies will be paid.
Health & Wellbeing
This retreat offers gentle movement, guided breath practices, sound immersion and time spent outdoors.
By participating, you acknowledge that:
you are responsible for your own physical and emotional wellbeing throughout the retreat
you will participate only to the extent that feels appropriate for your body
you will inform the facilitators of any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy or health concerns that may affect your participation.
Into Nature is a wellbeing experience and is not intended as medical treatment, psychological therapy or a substitute for professional healthcare.
Personal Responsibility
While every effort is made to create a safe environment, participation in retreat activities is undertaken at your own discretion.
Jane and Fefa accept no responsibility for injury, illness, loss or damage arising from participation in retreat activities, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Respect for the Shared Experience
Into Nature is designed as a quiet and restorative experience.
We kindly ask all guests to:
arrive on time
treat fellow guests, facilitators and the property with kindness and respect
keep mobile phone use to a minimum
take phone calls away from shared retreat spaces
respect periods of silence throughout the day.
One of the greatest gifts of this experience is the opportunity to step away from constant connection and allow your inner landscape to slow down.
Weather
Tasmania is well known for experiencing four seasons in a single day.
Please come prepared with warm layers, waterproof clothing, comfortable walking shoes and sun protection so you can enjoy the experience in all weather conditions.
The retreat will proceed in most weather conditions, with adjustments made where necessary.
Accommodation & Property
Guests staying at Friendlies Rest and The Nest are asked to care for the accommodation, furnishings and surrounding environment.
Guests may be held responsible for damage caused through negligence or misuse during their stay.
Photography
From time to time we may capture photographs during the retreat for future communications.
We will always be mindful and respectful when taking photographs.
If you would prefer not to appear in any images, simply let us know before the retreat begins and we will happily respect your wishes.
Substances
For the wellbeing and safety of everyone attending, guests are asked not to attend the retreat under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
Travel
If you are travelling from interstate, we recommend allowing extra time for your journey.
Hiring a car is the easiest way to explore Tasmania's beautiful East Coast and travel comfortably to Friendlies Rest.
If you are attending as a day guest, please arrive at the retreat before the scheduled start time so you can settle into the experience with the group.
Changes to the Program
While every effort is made to deliver the retreat as advertised, the schedule, activities or facilitators may change if required due to weather, safety considerations or unforeseen circumstances.
Any changes will always be made with your experience and wellbeing in mind.
